TOKENIZED STOCKS EXPLAINED
What are tokenized stocks?
Tokenized stocks are blockchain tokens that track listed equities such as AAPL, TSLA, or NVDA. Distributed programs back each token with real shares and let investors hold them in their own wallets; represented programs use the chain as a settlement record; synthetic markets offer derivative exposure through perpetual futures with no backing shares.
How is onchain value computed?
For every tokenized stock market we read the token supply directly from its chain — SPL mint supply on Solana, ERC-20 totalSupply on EVM networks — and multiply it by the live market price. Nothing is self-reported: onchain value is supply times price, summed across markets, platforms, and chains.
Which platforms issue tokenized stocks?
Coverage spans xStocks and bStocks on Solana and EVM chains, Ondo Global Markets, Robinhood's European stock tokens on Robinhood Chain, Backpack Securities, PreStocks for pre-IPO names, and synthetic stock perpetuals on Hyperliquid. Each platform page breaks down its markets, chains, and onchain value.
